Description
Our local government clients in North London require an Admin - Project Support Officer. We are looking for someone with an organised, inquisitive, and critical mind, and an eye for detail, who wants to use their skills to drive change and improvement in Children & Young People. You'll be passionate about keeping people who draw on the services at the heart of everything we do. You will understand local government and have some knowledge of the project management cycle, as well as project management tools and methodologies.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
Be able to understand, interpret, summarise, and present a variety of information and data using different applications, and you will have good attention to detail. You'll be working across several different workstreams and projects at any one time, with monitoring conducted efficiently and effectively. You'll also play a role in ensuring that updates on progress are reported accurately and promptly.
Qualification – Essential
- GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
- High level of education or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media and CRM.

- Experience in Data Management.
- Experienced in the use of standard office software, digital mapping and other specific programs used in this field.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Must possess initiative & flexibility in response to rapidly changing organisational needs & service deadlines.
- Organisational and administrative abilities, along with planning skills.
- Proven ability to organise, prioritise and maintain workloads most effectively and reach objectives within agreed timescales.
- Demonstrable experience in project administration.
- Significant experience in organisation and administration across a range of different disciplines and skills.
- Use information technology effectively, having the necessary keyboard skills to use email and update computerised diaries and update and retrieve information from organisational record systems.
- Demonstrable experience in drafting report documentation.
- You will have well-developed communication skills and be confident in presenting and explaining results clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Possesses excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow policies and procedures carefully.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to self-motivate.
- Demonstrable experience in the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
