Description
Our local government clients in Camden, London, are seeking a Cleaner - Facilities & Environment. To carry out cleaning duties to a high standard in all communal, internal, and external areas, voids and properties and low-level maintenance tasks as specified in the cleaning schedule, using mechanical equipment where appropriate.
Responsibilities
To utilise a variety of methods and equipment to ensure all communal areas, including all furniture, fittings, and equipment sited in them, are cleaned thoroughly. To regularly and frequently follow a programme of work to ensure that both internally and externally, the standards of hygiene are kept to a high standard for the safe use of service users:
Qualifications – Essential
- GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
- Current COSH certificate
- Fire safety awareness certificate
- Basic Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media and Tablet.

- Experience in following established processes and procedures.
- Demonstrates an eye for detail and an ability to stick to routine tasks.
- Knowledge of essential Health & Safety relating to the cleaning of communal public areas and the handling of cleaning materials-(COSH)
Compliance Requirements
- 3 Years References
- Basic CRB/DBS is required
- Willing to engage in the Pre-Engagement Questionnaire and mandatory pre-screening application process.
