Are you an experienced Housing Paralegal ready to take ownership of a busy caseload and deliver visible results? This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic local authority housing litigation team in Lambeth. You will play a key role in reducing rent arrears and warrant application backlogs while supporting important disrepair, tenancy, and nuisance matters.

- Hours: 35 per week
- Rate: £26.77 per hour Umbrella
- Working pattern: Flexible hybrid working, with an expected 1–2 office days where required
What You'll Be Doing
- Take ownership of a varied housing litigation caseload, with a focus on rent arrears and warrant applications.
- Drive cases forward efficiently and help clear priority backlogs.
- Keep case trackers and records accurate, current and easy for clients to follow.
- Work closely with fee earners on disrepair, tenancy, unauthorised occupant and nuisance matters.
- Draft clear correspondence and help issue court proceedings.
- Prepare high-quality hearing bundles and support document disclosure.
- Coordinate with counsel and manage case-related invoices and administration.
What You'll Bring
- Essential previous experience in a legal or paralegal role.
- Ideally, hands-on experience in housing litigation, rent-arrears recovery, warrant applications or related public-sector casework.
- The confidence to manage competing priorities and a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent drafting, organisation, record-keeping and stakeholder communication skills.
- A CILEX qualification, or progress towards one, would be an advantage.
