Join a local government repairs team delivering plumbing and multi-trade maintenance across council homes and other properties in Northwest London. You will complete safe, high-quality repairs, renewals and installations, with a strong focus on customer service and getting the job right the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete plumbing repairs to pipework, drainage and sanitary installations.
- Deliver reactive, planned and void-property repairs.
- Carry out associated plumbing, tiling and making-good work.
- Diagnose faults and choose practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Provide a professional service in residents’ homes.
- Work in line with health and safety requirements and current regulations.
- Update job records and manage materials using mobile systems.
What You Will Need
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, or an equivalent qualification.
- More than five years’ experience in social housing repairs or maintenance.
- Practical multi-trade skills, including fault-finding.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- GCSE English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Clear customer communication, administration and basic digital record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compliance Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Five-year work history and satisfactory references.
- Mandatory pre-engagement screening.
