Diamond Blaque is recruiting for a Contract Tenancy Sustainment Officer - Housing on behalf of a reputable public sector organisation based in Nottinghamshire. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting tenants to maintain their tenancies, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance to prevent homelessness and promote stability within the community. Your duties will include assessing tenant needs, developing personalised support plans, liaising with different service providers, and conducting regular reviews to ensure ongoing tenancies are sustainable. The successful candidate will be proactive, empathetic, and have strong communication skills to effectively manage tenant relationships and collaborate across departments.
- Previous experience as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer or in a similar housing support role
- Knowledge of tenancy agreements, homelessness prevention, and housing legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to assess tenant needs and develop support plans
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases
- Experience working within a public sector housing organisation is preferred
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
